I don’t know your name, your age, your race or the dimensions of your face.
I’m not sure whether you’re a man, a woman, the wind or energy.
I don’t know if you run as deep as the sea or if you’re as small as a seed.
I’m not sure where you are but I feel you within me.
Because every time the wind blows I feel you caress me.
At night when I feel alone,
I look up at the moon and see light shimmer and I know it’s you.
And sometimes, I can even hear you in my head.
And that’s when I know, God is everything.
Amen.

:))Thank you gorgeous!
You’re welcome lovely! 🙂
Erika, thank you for sharing this. I needed it tonight. I have been struggling with my creator (god) lately and this helped me find some peace in what seems like internal chaos ❤
I know exactly what you mean. I myself doubt and struggle but we must keep our faith. I am glad this found you when you needed to hear it. There are no accidents. I wouldn’t doubt if God inspired me to write it just so it can reach you. I am honored. Thank you ❤
I like this poem,, and the part at the end with “G-d is too big to fit into one religion” is excellent as well. (Yes, I am Jewish with the way that I modified the quote…)
Thank you Noah: )
