Make Love

I want to sink into you & make your body my home.

You fit perfectly inside me, as if it were where you belong.

Two individual souls become one.

Our hearts beating fast & strong like drums.

I’m losing air, breathe your breaths into my lungs.

Kiss & touch me everywhere, part my thighs with your tongue.

The back board thumps louder and louder like the bass in a song.

Go harder and harder, as deep as you can, I can’t get enough.

Lift me up, throw me down.

Arch my back, turn me around.

Fill me up and leave me numb.

I come alive when we make love.

  1. Well done, very spot on. x] I like the part where it says, “You fit perfectly inside me, as if it were where you belong. – Two individual souls become one.” I’ve just been noticing that when two people make love facing each other that their chakras are alined with one another. So making love really does feel like that, two individual souls lining up, becoming one.

  2. You wrote it so purely yet in so beautiful manner.. the selection of words was beautiful and the poem was ..
    well..
    FANTASTIC!!
    Much Love …

  3. I waited to comment, for lack of something truly insightful to say, but I think I got it now:

This piece is, put into words, what lovemaking should be, each and every time.

Too often, our schedules reduce the act to a mindless “quickie” before bed or between chores.

Our Society reduces (nay, “cheapens”) it to just another marketing tactic.

Our base, reptilian instinct reduces it to be simply about getting off.

But our creator endowed us to make it so much more, even if it happens to be a one-time thing with someone you’ve never met before, and may never see again.

Thank you for reminding us all of the true, deeper meaning within this beautiful act of Life and Love. Muy bien!

    • Thank you so much. I completely agree with all that you’ve said. i feel exactly the same way. Sex is the most euphoric, expressive, and loving act a human is capable of.

  4. First, I’d like to thank you for liking my post and following my blog. Second, I really enjoyed reading your work. I love the passionate, and feral description, and how it can still be making love. I appreciate the honesty of all your writing.

  5. “throw me down”…?…OUCH…u a maso-momma?

And all that thumping would be awfully distracting..takes the fun out of focus..lol 🙂

    Fill me UP?..OMG..babies! PASS! 🙂

  7. Erika, there is an emotional intensity that words cannot fully express.
….Where two individual souls become one….
    You are lost…
    You are found…
    You die…
    You live again….
    Love….
