Keep calm & believe

Embrace pain and tears.

Grow wiser throughout the years.

Break beautifully and mend truthfully.

Cry hard and laugh so hard you cry.

Try everything once and deny it all.

Avoid vulnerability, it can break your fall.

Work to triumph, not to pass.

It’s not worth the sweat if it’s done half ass.

You grow strong when you hold on

and stronger when you learn to let go.

There’s no such thing as mistakes,

just experiences that help you grow.

Stand out from the crowd.

Speak your mind and opinions aloud.

Appreciate what you have,

and be grateful for what you had.

Scream with rage and love to laugh.

Make love passionately and love freely.

Savor taste but avoid gluttony.

Ignore the whispers,

listening makes you bitter.

Speak intellectually,

with knowledge and creativity.

Stay away from negativity and envy,

It can destroy you ultimately.

Always have faith and believe.

In the end that’s all you need.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much
about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog.
A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.

  2. We’re currently going through a earth-shattering limbo where our soulmate has decided to leave to sort himself out. This poem you wrote has eased my pain in knowing there will come a time for a reuniting of spirits. A thousand thank-yous inlaid in gold for putting our melancholy peace to such lyricism.

    • wow, thank you so much. Sometimes, I feel I write certain things just to reach the people who need to read them at the exact time that they needed it. I am glad this reached you and eased your pain. That means so much to me.

      Erika ❤
