I’ve been searching for you my entire life.
Someone who spoons with me and won’t turn away from me in the middle of the night.
Someone who is easy to love and won’t put up a fight.
Honestly, integrity, loyalty… he will be true to me.
He loves when I don’t want him to go and I can tell he doesn’t want to leave.
He’s funny. He gets my jokes and always makes me crack a smile when I’m feeling low.
He sees me for me.
The real me.
He sees my craziness, my insecurities and doesn’t get how I don’t see the beauty he sees.
He pushes me to be all I can be. He believes in me.
He holds my hand when we walk, listens when I talk and appreciates me for who I am, not for what I’ve got.
He’s a dreamer, a believer, a truth seeker.
He knows how to follow along but he’s a leader.
I respect him, I confide in him, I admire him.
He holds me, he kisses me and makes love to me passionately, and frequently.
I’m his favorite thing to do.
He asks if I’m his too but he already knew.
He doesn’t judge my stories or the things I’ve been through.
He makes my world beautiful.
Maybe, the relationship won’t last but while it does it will change me.
It will inspire me. It will strengthen me & our love will always be a part of me.
I know he’s out there.
I can feel him looking for me.
So I won’t give up, I’ll continue searching.
Until one of us wins this game of hide & seek.

All of us desire the perfect love. I believe the perfect love is create by two people desire the same things. Real wisdom is when you desire your lover to be content first. I like the need and want of the poem. We need laughter, long talks and good day/nights with our love. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
